The part about limiting and controlling rebounds was going above and beyond what he's typically done this season.  (Realized after rereading it, that may not have been stated as clearly as it should've been.)

And, yes, the team played very well in front of him.  But will give the devil his due when it's earned.  He came very close to playing a complete game tonight.  (And hopefully some opposing GM saw the effort tonight and believes his coaches can wash the Sabre stink off of him.)

We'd have to retain salary and I'm guessing that'd be a non-starter. I think we're stuck with him, unless someone (other than KA) can sweet talk TP.

Why do you assume that?

That was a great moment. He stayed and waited to make sure everything was okay. He was smiling and clapping when he skated away.

Yeah, that was a real nice way for him to cap off what turned to be such an impressive first night back from his injury.

It sure didn't take long to see that he has a natural instinct for the game like few players have. Fingers crossed for him to stay healthy.

Excellent win.  Norris add skill to the top 6.  Just hope he stays in the line up.  I thought a lot of Sabres stood out tonight.

Get rest. Get on the road, and then beat the slugs in Philly.  They think they play that “heavy” game.  Just blow on by them and dominate.

REALLY hoping they don't decide to showcase UPL again in that one.  The D won't likely be as solid as they were tonight because Ruff won't get the matchups he wants.  Would much rather see either Lyon or Ellis between the pipes.

But, guess it'll be whatever it'll be.  Would be cool if they got a 3 game winning streak working with each goalie getting one of the W's.

This team has another gear with Norris on the ice. I'm not jumping in head first, but I'm cautiously optimistic if...IF...Norris can stay on the ice.

Also, kudos to Upie; he played well.

Big road swing on deck. On to the next one...

This is the difference in having everyone playing on the line they should be playing on, and not having to play up a level.

***With Depth in Kesselring, Kulich, Rosen and Dunne.

That is something that has not been around in a very long time.

Yes, our AHL/bench depth consists of properly developed players ready for the NHL, not high draft picks rushing into the fray out of desperation.

Another nice game at home.  UPL wasn’t challenged and that’s a good thing.  Great initial game by Norris.  Just imagine if he can stay healthy.

The Sabres are now 9-5-2 at home.  They are sadly 2-6-2 on the road.  11 of the next 14 games are on the road, including the next 6 straight.  If they want to prove that they are more than the same old crappy team, winning 4 of the next 6 road games would go along way to proving that it may be different this time.  Maybe.

It was nice to watch a full game where the Sabres were the best team on ice from the opening puck drop.

Hmmm...........

Well it's obvious the Jets did not come prepared to compete. I'm not sure they took the Sabres too lightly or were just too slow (maybe both) but they did get embarrassed.  On the other side, that is how the Sabres have to play. Has to be all about speed and swarming with that speed and it was. You can win hockey games that way.

Norris? Well, how many games do we get? I guess that's the question. Nobody ever doubted his talent and it was on display.

There's no real negatives (although Krebs was probably lucky or smart enough not to get killed :)). There were some mistakes similar to other games but they can survive those with team speed so they weren't costly or overly noticeable.

idk, this keeps up Adams will keep his job and say see, this was the plan all along.
