$27; no STH discount.

They seem to hold 24 oz.

The line about 5 minutes into the 1st period still stretched to the main concourse (nearly 1/4 of the rink long).  So at least 200 people still in the line, maybe even 3-400.

Wow they struck gold with the beer sword

They know what it takes to watch this team.

The Moneypuck simulator has the Sabres at around an 86% "deserve to win" rating. I've never seen a rating so high for an actual score that was so bad.

I didn't watch the whole game but from the half I saw we looked really good. It's disheartening to get this kind of result.

I had the game on during dinner (we did Thanksgiving on Friday due to son's work schedule).  It looked like Sabres were dominating at times but every time I looked up, NJ had another goal.  Bah.

If you call Adams President of Hockey Operations, and Jarmo is the General Manager of the same, then Adams outranks Jarmo.  What is unclear is who will Jarmo report to?   Unless he reports directly to Terry he likely works for KA.

I expect that Jarmo would want all the autonomy that he had in Columbus.   What is also unclear is how Adams will define his role as POHO.

I don't want this to happen, but it is a possibility.

I ask this as a question I don’t have an answer to: Would Jarmo take a GM job if he was subordinate to KA in the POHO or any manufactured position? I don’t think so but I can’t say for sure. If Terry P had some common sense he would move KA back to the business side of the operation and let him spend his time dealing with the concessionaires parking issues.

I think this is exactly what makes him 3rd pair material. If you can limit his minutes, you'll get good effort -- he kills penalties and unlike some of our folks, he does battle in front of the net.

The issue lately is that Byram has brought out the worst in him. He was solid, if unspectacular, with Power earlier in the year. He's now played almost the exact amount of 5-on-5 time with Byram as he had with Power. 148:50 w/ Byram, 147:16 w/Power.

Timmins-Power  7 GF / 7 GA

Timmins-Bryam  7 GF / 13 GA

Unfortunately, losing their best defender in Samuelsson could be a killer --  but put Byram-Dahlin back together where Dahlin can elevate him. Re-pair Power-Timmins. And do something like Novikov-Bryson for sheltered minutes/game. (I know, I know, we're likely getting the Bryson-Metsa show instead.)

And... is canned by Pegula for not being heard. Pegula/Adams are a dyad in the Dark Side of the Force #####.

Going by the numbers, this may be a good reason why Byram isn't as good as people say.

Its not just the actual goals you mentioned, its 'expected goals' which represents the quality of shots you are getting vs getting:

In terms of XG% this year...

Timmins numbers are lower when playing with Bryam than with everyone else.

Dahlin is lower with Bryam than with everyone else.

Kesserling is lower with Byram than with everyone else.

Power IS better with Bryam, but its a very small sample size (only about 53 total minute together)

If Bryam is so good..or even good at all, he should be 'bringing up' the performance, and numbers of most of the guys he plays with, not the other way around.
