Refs are allowing every bit of grabbing, stick holding, slashing, and interference that the Pens can muster.

Good.

The Sabres need to be able to work through the garbage and score anyway. They've been skating and competing the last few minutes now that they know they're not getting any calls.

Yeah, the Sabres need to score, but this almost 'feels' like where UPL will let them down.

Its not getting old when he has under a .900 save percentage this year, coming off of a season where he was one of the worst goalies in the league last year.

You want him to not get any criticism? Start playing like a #1 goalie, which he was declared to be last year and is getting paid close to being on.  One good, game, one bad game, a few good saves, then a couple softies....doesn't cut it for me and he's going to get criticized until he gets better on a consistent basis.

Up till the last 5 minutes of the second period the had 1 SOG. Cool that they’re playing defense but when they spend 15-20 minutes in their own zone, sorta hard to win
