Tuch: if you're going to do a drop pass to Thompson there, then stop at the side of the net or drive across the face of the goalie for a screen. Don't stay wide and go behind it. There's no rebound behind the net.

UPL was playing so well that period.  His best of the season and then he lets in such a lousy goal.

It really seemed like catching the break at the end of the 1st with the Avs goal getting called back got him back into his happy place.  Whatever he did between the 1st and the 2nd, he needs to do again this intermission.  And then just be 1 save better than last period.

Tuch and Thompson are talented AF but for whatever reason, both regress to drive-bys way too often. They are too stick-and-puck based in their thinking, and not nearly body-and-positioning based enough. Get to the mfing net. Take the body every now and again. Use your size and length to disrupt and occupy space and bodies, not just pucks. Create net front LUCK.

No, but the Sabres gave up a breakaway 58 seconds in, to Necas who did not mess around.  

The Sabres continued to not skate much the next 5 minutes but also were not having Avs shots hit the net/Lyon.  Then they finally got another shot, Lyon made the save, the rebound went to a spot where Timmons or the Av could've got it in the slot and guess which guy skated and which didn't?

Ruff called a TO and pulled Lyon so he could chew out the team as UPL got between the pipes.

Hire Shanny as President of Hockey Operations (why didn’t he?!) & let Terry focus on yaght & wife in Fla. 

I love Tuch since he was drafted and he is not resigning with this club (would you?).

Trade him to Van or western conference team (his wife is from Van). I wish him well & will root in him. 
 

Do a real rebuild, if we have legitimate front office, we can build it and they will come….
