While humorous, there’s a big difference playing 88 games this past season as opposed to 18-50-35 which was sort of the argument.

There's no spirit of the bet.  He didn't play 100.  And I was the underdog for most of it.  But 100 is not 93.

I trust you enough to not ask for a receipt and I am sure that the folks at the pantry will thank you!

Just stop. We were arguing over the quality of the player and the pick and you chose 100 games in three years to prove he wasn’t worthwhile. He may have gotten those games if McDavid didn’t play with a broken foot. Regardless, by year three he played 88 games for a team in the playoffs. The bet could’ve easily have been “he will play every game in an NHL season by year three” and you still would’ve taken the bet because you were arguing about the quality of the player and not pretended to be in an NHL bookie.

It appears you walked it back for an actual bet. But this was your argument. He plays 100 NHL games tops.
