Babcock, Civil War setting
And the city prolly knows what the city is getting
The creme de la creme of a Hockey coach
In a game with everything but Wayne Gretzky.

Babcock fired doesn't seem a minute
Since the Toronto club had ol' Mikey boy in it
Loafs changed coaches don't you know that when you
Play at his level you get a Blue Jacket venue

I liked Babcock when he was on the studio crew for (I think it was) TBS for a short stint.

I wasn't expecting to hear anything out of his mouth that I wanted to hear, but actually found him to be pretty good.

It surprised me.

Ascending teams - Florida, Devils, Buffalo, Ottawa and Detroit.

Holding -  Canes,  Lightning, Rags, Islanders

Could be falling - Leaves, Broons

Falling - Pens, Caps

Still working on it - Habs, Flyers, CBJ

Lighting lost some guys so they might end up in the falling. TBD I guess.

why's that?

The video played fine for me, as well. I, too, thought that Commodore was hilarious. It just sounds like sh!t!

The hosts' mics were different levels and completely distorted, and when they snorted or laughed or coughed, you couldn't hear the guest for a quick second. It was awful, as is the audio for most podcasts.

I am a professional audio engineer. The fact that you think it sounded fine makes me sad.

Let me use a visual aid. Here is SwampD's Employment index chart.

The pandemic has made the tolerance line much steeper.

I guess my expectations of podcast audio quality are lower. As long as I can tell what they are saying I'm fine.

It has been that very thought that has kept me sane when thinking about how much my own industry doesn’t care (or even know) what I do, and that as long as my checks clear and I don’t have to write an email to some turkey about a mistake that nobody even realized I made, then I’m good. I still wish it was better,… cuz it’s so easy to make it better.
