We need that between our 3rd and 4th lines. The players who frustrate the ***** out of other lines. What's the best Really. 2 lines that are dangerous scoring goals. 1 line that is annoying to play against but scores. 1 line that makes your night a living hell. Even highly drafted players become role players. Stu Barnes and Dan Paille are two former Sabres who leap to mind.

Yes they could have but they probably didn’t think he was worth it at the time. They had UPL, Levi, Portillo and Leinonen as prospects. He had to be signed before the start of his junior season. Maybe they draft or sign him this year if he slips through the draft.

No they couldn’t. He has to go back in the draft.

They probably figured that signing him might send the same sort of message to Levi that trading for Levi sent Portillo. Not worth saving a 5th round pick in this year's draft to risk alienating Levi. (Not saying that would've scared Levi off, it likely wouldn't. But with a completely bare cupboard except Levi, the risk wasn't worth it IMHO.) He goes back to junior in September and that signing window closes. He is back in the draft now.

I believe their list is still their mid season list. The player rankings are the same as I got from them in March. Ryan Leonard is 25 on their list while he is top 10 everywhere else. Brendan Yeager is at 9 while being in the teens or worse in most lists. These are just two examples.

LGR4GM
As far as I know, FC hasn't updated rankings since the mid terms.

ScorpionZero
FC you know the absolute beauty of having multiple good drafts is that no matter where a person supposedly ranks you can start to take players that may be missing in your system. Wherever they may be ranked, because your scouts are really doing there jobs. Like a Musty or Allen, etc. This would be absolutely awesome top of the draft. ScorpionZero
Watching the playoffs, do we really have the defensiveman to control the front of the net, like we need. I say yes, Samuelson and Dahling can do it, we just need a partner for power. Who should that be ? I think if power adds a little nasty to his game, which is not asking much. We'll be fine.
