I was going to wait till the season is officially over, but it seems it’s all the rage on twitter. So here it is, do the best job of predicting the off-season, as judged by me, win a pair of awesome tickets to a game next year.

You can predict specific transactions, or just post a predicted line up. I will start, just to get it out of the way.

Skinner - Tage - Tuch

Quinn - Cozens - Tom Wilson

Gus - JT Compher - Greenway

JJP - Krebs - Savoie

Kulich

Rousek

Mule - Rasmus

Power - Hanifan

Stillman - lybushkin

Ryan Johnson

Varlomov

Levi

  • nfreeman changed the title to The return of the off-season contest. Predict the off-season, win tickets.

I don't see Tom Wilson leaving Washington, let alone coming to Buffalo.  I understand the idea of Hanafin, but I see someone a bit more grizzled there.  I am torn about where Savoie, Kulich, and Rousek go.

It appears there isn’t the interest I anticipated for this.
Looks like it’s going to be a two man race.

Sadly, the more interviews I hear with KA the more I think it likely that the status quo team plus one defensemen is what we’ll see next year unless KO and Z move on on their own. KA keeps saying how much UPL and Joki have improved and are still young.  These statements don’t match the eye test or the public analytics.  It’s very disheartening.  He seems so intrenched in the development of prospects that he is becoming unable to cut bait when it’s in the teams best interest.  Yes this worked for TNT and Mitts, but there was slow but clear progress being made by both players.  Sadly, I haven’t seen that with Joki and UPL.  In fact, what I have seen is the opposite.

I wonder, even at 19, if there exists any rationale to keep Kulich in Rochester.  On top of that, I can't think of a reason for Savoie to stay in Juniors or Rousek to be in Rochester either.  That complicates my line-up projections for next year.

On top of that, I have no feel for what kind of UFA we could sign.  Could we get a JT Compher?

Does anyone else think that GMKS has targeted Matt Roy out of LA?
