On WGR's Sabres Live Show it was announced that this game was a sell-out. I hope the Sabres play at a worthy level for the honored former player and for those in attendance. There have been too many listless games at home. Because of the Chicago game, I'm confident that the team will play with passion.

Promo,

Are going to be in the house tonight?  Asking for a friend.  He / she thinks that your track record for game attendance kinda sucks.

MUST WIN!!

GO SABRES!!

Win it for WTF wave Miller.

UPL with the *Miller shutout*.

Not going to be there so rest easy. Although I was at the recent Wild game. That one turned out well.

Why 6? Doesn't he deserve everyone (or almost everyone) in their seats?

Because having the ceremony at 6:45 doesn't sell enough concessions before the game.  Having people in the building for a full extra hour could.

Actually, while that's part of it, expect that by having the ceremony that early that both teams can have their normal warm-ups before the game w/out then having to sit an extra 15 minutes on the bench or the dressing room waiting for the ceremony to finally finish.

It'll also let the ice get Zambonied after having the black mats & red carpets rolled out for 20-30 minutes.

Makes sense on several levels, but it does force those wanting to go to the game & ceremony to leave work early.  Not everybody will be able to do so.

FWIW they have been blasting to everyone at every opportunity on WGR to be in your seats by 5:50.

I have wondered to myself how non WGR listeners will get this info.  Maybe there was an email.

Interesting take.  Please explain how he was overrated.

Wouldn't matter your mind is set

But

To rebuttal your points, quickly

1. Sheer volume absolutely contributed to his win total.

2. Sheer volume absolutely contributed to his win total.

When you play 70 games a year you are going to be up there in wins regardless of how good you actually are

Fair enough. He asked me to respond, though
