The local broadcast games should be on ESPN+. Based on the below I think the only games that wouldn't be on ESPN+ will be the 4 that are on TNT.

I don't think FUBO would be helpful in Florida because you wouldn't be local for the Buffalo broadcast. Though there could be workarounds with a VPN? I'm not tech saavy enough to know regarding that.

The National Hockey League announced its broadcast schedule for the 2022-23 season Wednesday afternoon and the Buffalo Sabres have 12 national telecasts, including four on TNT and eight on ESPN+/Hulu.

The Sabres' games on TNT are Nov. 2 vs. Pittsburgh, Nov. 30 at Detroit, Dec. 7 at Columbus (faceoff moved to 7:30 p.m. from 7) and Feb. 1 vs. Carolina (moved to 7:30 from 7).

Sabres games that will be exclusive to the subscription streaming services of ESPN+ and Hulu are Nov. 4 at Carolina, Dec. 27 at Columbus, Jan. 28 at Minnesota, Feb. 21 vs. Toronto, Feb. 28 vs. Columbus, March 2 at Boston, March 7 at the New York Islanders and March 25, also at the Islanders.

Both games against Columbus, the home game against Toronto and the game in Boston have been moved to 7:30 starts from their originally planned faceoff time of 7 p.m. The March 25 game against the Islanders in UBS Arena has been moved to 5 p.m. from 5:30.

It should be just like last year. Here’s my deal, if it helps.

I just re-upped my Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+ deal for $13.99/month, and I have SlingTv.

I’m in North Jersey, so I’ll get all home games if they are not national games through ESPN+.
I’ll get national games through HULU+ or TNT (which i get through SlingTV).
Any game (home or away) against the Devils, Rangers, or Islanders, is blacked out for me, so I have to go to my buddy’s house to watch. He has Verizon and gets all the local sports channels.

I’m fine with this arrangement. It’s plenty of hockey. If I miss a game or two due to inconvenience, oh well.

Do they have any NHL Network games this year (like last night's preseason game)?  If so then you would need that to watch them.  Not all Spectrum packages are the same across the country, but with basic cable and the Sports Pack for $5 more here in Texas I get NHL Network and TNT.  That, plus ESPN+, gives me all the games I believe.

Incidentally, one thing to know is that if you have several TVs, you only need a single cable box (required by Spectrum if you have any TV package) and you can watch the rest of your TVs using the apps in a smart TV or by using a streaming stick (Roku, Amazon Fire, etc.)  If you're watching on ESPN+ you're already streaming so you can either use the Spectrum app on your smart TV, or log in with your Spectrum credentials on the ESPN app, the TNT app, etc.  I think you have to watch NHL Network on the Spectrum app though.

Just to add.  Fubo does not have Turner Broadcast networks.. so you won't get anything on TNT.  You would however get MSG. Fubo is my option. I have ESPN+ but they apparently do a great job of blocking SurfShark VPN endpoints.. the app straight up will not work on my Firestick when I have the VPN enabled.

The only solution where I would get all games would be Spectrum, but they can take their $21/month broadcast surcharge (aka. you pay for local channels) and stick it.

Just a wee headsup for any UK guys on here.

Viaplay has taken over Premier Sports and will be streaming all NHL games. Cost is £15/month, which is the same as NHL.tv - but you also get every sporting event they have the rights to as well as TV shows.

According to a statement, ‘Viaplay will also show LaLiga, Scottish Cup, Scottish League Cup and Coppa Italia football; BKT United Rugby Championship, Rugby Football League and TOP 14 rugby; NHL, IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, Champions Hockey League and Elite Ice Hockey League; CEV volleyball; KSW mixed martial arts; EHF handball; ISU figure skating and speed skating; World Athletics Continental Tour Gold and Indoor Tour; and much more.’
