But you still should win a game when you only give up 9 goals.

That's the Mammoth D closing all the shooting lanes. Masterful. I want to rave about goalie Dillon Ward but his defense made his job so much easier.

I noticed that.  They were able to keep the Bandits to the outside for long stretches.  Buffalo was often unable to penetrate the shell they set up in front of Ward.

Goaltending and rebounds were the difference. The first quarter was great and the place was hopping. The rest of the game was pretty boring and once again, my kids fail to witness a Buffalo championship. I felt bad for the diehards leaving the building as they really wanted it.

Did you watch the game? There was nothing inferior about Colorado. The better team won.

I did watch the game...Bandits seemingly tried the same thing all game long and when that didn't work they never adjusted.

Should have never got to a game 3, they choked away a lead in game 2.

21 internet only games: 18-3.

3 broadcast TV games: 0-3.

Faaaaaaaaack.

They simply couldn't solve the Mammoth D & Ward.

And Vinc had 2 of his worst games of the year in these last pair of games.

Still not sure how Frazier's goal got overturned.  There sure did appear to be a thin sliver of dark between his foot & the crease.  In a game where Ward was playing so well, that was huge.

Mammoth beat the Bandits 3 times this year out of 4 games.  Did not see that coming, but Colorado earned it.

He did let in at least two softies in the first half but it's hard to call 9 goals, including just 2 in the second half, a bad game.

By HIS standards, it was a horrid game.  He gave up 4 goals on the 1st 7 shots.  As you said, at least 2 of those were bad and he normally would've stopped 6 of those 7.

Yes, he got better as the game went on.  But, whereas Ward worked though the butterflies in the 1st 5 minutes of the game, it took Vinc nearly the entire 1st half.  And unlike game 2 where Vinc was often hung out to dry in the 4th, his D did a good job limiting high danger chances and shots throughout.

Goaltending was the difference in the game and arguably the series.  Had you said that would be the case heading into the Finals would've agreed that it would.  But did not expect it to be a difference maker for the Mammoth.
