Ok folks maybe I missed discussion on this.  In the past I subscribed to nhl center ice on directv but last two years used nhlstreams to watch games.  Saw on dtv website offer for center ice for 60$ so signed up.  Last night tried to watch game only to find out on espn+   Tonigt I, am, outmfo town and true watching using direct app yet channel is not available.

Now when I google center ice Iget links to espn plus as she my try nhl.com and try to watch get an error message.  Should I subscribe to espn plusminstead of center ice on Dtv?  Can I watch on multiple devices so I can watch one game onmipad another onmphome as a poor man's PIP?

Some sent me links last night but those are all betting sites and url was blocked by my security software on router.

The link that I sent you was definitely legit. I’ve been using that site to stream games on my phone for a couple seasons now.

Idk about on a laptop or PC, but on my phone, there’s a sequence of steps to take to get the stream to start playing.

CI is for cable/satellite.  Just like season's past, it will carry all the out of market games that have a local broadcast.  Unlike for the past how ever many years when NBC had the primary broadcast rights, there are 75 games that the primary national US rights holder are only streaming w/ no cable/satellite/ota way to legally watch those 75 games.  (8 of which are Sabres games.)  ESPN+ games & TNT Games will not be on CI.  Pretty sure ESPN & ABC games won't end up on CI either, but not positive about that.

ESPN+ has replaced NHL.tv for streaming.  All out of market games, with the possible exception of the TNT Games (including the Heritage Classic) will end up there.  Pretty sure ESPN+ is $6.99/ month and includes EVERYTHING ESPN streams, not just hockey.

I live in Albany and it appears the only way to watch Sabres home games is by getting cable which has MSG. Is there another way for me? Even though I’m out of town this is still technically buffalo home market territory

An ESPN+ subscription will get you most games. Just not the ones on TNT, and maybe ABC.

Does espn plus give option for both feeds like CI does?

Based on what I saw, it's just the ESPN+ announcers and feed.

For games that are not ESPN+ exclusive, they give you the choice of either team's feed.

Espn+ gives you all games that are not nationally broadcast or local blackout. I can confirm you can watch complete sabres games sometime after 24 hours from live airing. I have not checked on the nationally televised games for on demand status

Within market, you can watch the ESPN+ exclusive game's replay as soon as an hour after the game is done.  No data if it could be watched sooner and presumably that works out of market too, but can't test that presumption.  Got back home ~10:15PM Friday night and had the B's game on from the opening puck drop shortly after that.  Could even fast forward through the commercials, which was nice.

The espn+ games can be watched regardless of local market if it is espn+ exclusive. I was able to watch the msg aired sabres game 30 some hours after it aired. It was listed as blacked out originally
