Covid protocol and injuries don't help but every team has those. Lots of fans want Scheifele traded, Lowry (the center not the coach) banished to the 4th line blah blah blah. When I say “core” I’m referring to the Scheifele/Wheeler/Laine unit that represented their best players/the focal point of their roster, at that time. I’d be shocked if they got that far again with Scheifele and Wheeler being the key guys.
