If anything it could backfire as there is a limit on LTIR space total. French Collection Posted June 17, 2022 Report Share Posted June 17, 2022 Habs get a 20 goal scorer for an LTIR contract, Sabres get a 7th round pick for taking on an LTIR contract. Could they flip Bishop to Vegas for an actual goalie like Brossoit? He will be behind Lehner and Thompson on their depth chart. He’s not a starter but has been a career backup at the NHL level. That’s really saying something given our recent history. I’m curious how $ LV is really on the hook for for the next 4 years. Is there insurance payments like we get for Bishop? If there isn’t I’m not sure this deal makes much sense. Dadanov has only one year left on his deal. Why pay someone 30 mill not to play to just get potential cap relief.
