Hoss

So ... what does it mean?

  1. 1. What do you think the "resolution" is referring to?

    • A trade is near
    • A plan to return to the team next year is near
    • He meant exclusively about the neck issue and was not commenting on his status with the team

He is gone this weekend to anaheim for Zegras 1st, comtois  and Gibson.

Reinhart and Skinner for Kings 1st, turcotte, vilardi and doughty.

Ristolainen to Columbus for a goalie or penguins for a 1st in 2022.

Is this a game? Which one of these trades is absolutely ridiculous?  #2

I'm on an LA Angels thread and have been interacting with a longtime fan. Arte Moreno mirrors the Pegulas with his expensive, aging free-agent acquisitions...Pujols ($25mil/yr@ 10 yr) and Anthony Rendon (30) , who also has a multi-year $250 million contract are two examples. Of course MLB is crazy money compared to the NHL. But this is what the guy said and I think it's relevant to us as Sabre fans:

Whats scarier about a meddling owner in NHL is that there is the salary cap while in MLB the owner can just deal with the luxury tax if they chose to. I feel like the meddling owners that it is a control issue where they doubt the people running it and think they can do better and can't control the urge to override them.
