I’m going to be totally honest: I am unreasonably and idiotically willing to write off a prospect purely based on a dumb name.

Bold take for a guy presumably named after an entertainer.  😉

And, belatedly, good to have you back.

Seriously. He’s scored 30 points four out of the last five seasons and hasn’t he won like one playoff series?

Yes? Without looking I think you're right.

So the Hall floor should be a 1st and a 4th. 50% retained

Dealing with prospects is such a crap shoot anyway, it might not even be unreasonable or idiotic relative to the field hahaha

Keep track of this, compare your hit rate to scouts, and go get hired by an NHL team if it works

If there is little interest in Hall and he  can’t net you a first rounder,  how about trade Olofsson and sign Hall?
I’m sure there is a team willing to ante up for a PP specialist and he wouldn’t be a rental

Hard pass on brining back Hall at all

Shouldn't the 3rd team get incentivized by the buyer?

Could be either.  If the buyer is sending the incentive piece to the salary dump team, that probably lowers what they send to the seller.  If it’s the seller incentivizing, that probably increases what they get from the buyer.  In theory.
