I had the NJ feed and their broadcast team were astonished Ralph called that time out.  They couldn't believe it when that NJ line was out 1:40 plus.

Every one of those players are full aware of the situation. I would dread going to the media interviews as well. This has probably put a large number of the players on the roster to the breaking point. And that has been one of my 2 questions, the 1st has always been where is ownership? The second is where is the veteran leaders, the Okposo's and Staal's? 

The locker room has to be like a funeral every day. Tough situation for some of these guys that are so competitive.

Any positive play by this year’s Sabres needs to be in context.  In this case they lost against a bad team adding to a crazy losing streak.  If they put together a few good games against better competition then ok.  But tonight’s game isn’t a measure of improvement.
