Mentioned He is a relentlessly positive person. There seems to be growing speculation on this. It was suggested Ellis is a guy who is in the organization and who is capable of running the Sabres bench on an interim basis if/when Krueger is fired. They went with an older guy in Krueger, an older former player (with asst experience) in Housley, a somewhat younger cup winner in Bylsma.....none of them really worked with this roster/core.
