jsb
Wasn't Kyle O supposed to be back playing against the Caps this week? Has there been any update on him? Placing him on IR was that a move to get Rasmus A on the ice or are we doing Sabres day to day as out for 2 months again? INTK

Regular IR is minimum 7 days, but it can be retroactive to when the player 1st was out. No cap savings realized from being on regular IR; there's actually a cap penalty of sorts as both the injured player & his replacement count against the team's cap & both salaries need to fit within the team's alloted cap space.
