Tough question. Lots of different ways to interpret favorite. Part of me wants to list off all the entertainers like Eddie Shack and Tiger Williams and all those types that made some games simply fun to watch, but in real hockey terms maybe these:

Bobby Orr

Scott Stevens

Bryan Trottier

Cam Neely

and all the Sutters.

And the bizarre Lemieux goal that made Game 7 a necessity.

If Warrener had been covering Straka on the GWG...

Not sure to this day why he went into the corner by himself leaving Straka all alone in front.

I’m still shocked to this day that the Kasparaitis puck toss doesn’t hold a bigger place in our lores of misery.

I will not watch that clip. It makes me more angry than I care to admit and I’m having a nice morning.

Ryan Smyth

Joe Sakic

Joe Pavelski

Martin St Louis

All leaders.  All hard working.  All exceptional skill or exceptional ability to outwork.  All outstanding members of the community.

Honorable mentions:

Chris Pronger dominated during his time, but he was an ***** on and off the ice.

Mark Messier calling the series in '94 was legend.

Patrick Kane's skills may be world best.
