That's been the case for years and is probably the main issue of "culture" of a tank wherein the guys who were here for it (Risto, Larry, Girgs), it's what they know/accept, and in bringing in a finesse roster there's just not the oomph to push back. Other teams have bursts of "playoff mode" waiting in their back pocket for the second half of the season as they begin the push for said playoffs.
