I don't agree. They indeed have added a capable 2C in Johansson, so far. The doubt stemmed from the what each individual perceived to be the likelihood of Johansson being able to adequately fill that role. 

I didn't even think it was on the table for the organization. All of a sudden he's in the role, and all of a sudden, he's excelling in the role. It's breaking our way so far, and it was reasonably unpredictable. That was your thing, wasn't it?

I think you’re speaking more for yourself, than for the typical, less-knowledgeable Sabres fan.

People just spoiled with two seasons of 12+ player turnover than only 6 is too much of the same. 
 

 

Granted coaching was the major issue and that changed for the better, get over it!  Oh, the holes were also all plugged.
