GDT: Sabres at Ducks ?7p PT

Recommended Posts

Also I know ERod snark is real, but did anyone see him dog that puck away from the point man, and then find Vesey on that cross-ice pass?

That's why I consistently post that he's a good player who should be playing, because he does things like that on a regular basis. I think him and Casey are developing something right now, and I'd sit Vesey for Sheary before I sit Evan. Sheary might just be the finish those two need.

The way he kept the puck in on the power play was pretty great

People looking for something to blame, Rayzor is nuts.  Why not call a it good play by the Ducks?

Jimmy has looked dangerous a couple times tonight

Yes, but he needs to force Gibson to make the save.  On goal!

WOW.

And what the hell was that Dahlin keep-in? Magic.

In his spare time, he's a shortstop from the Dominican Republic.

If Ralph wins this, it's confirmed that he's an elite coach

Who's the video coach? I think Ralph said he doesn't look at the iPad, he listens to the people up top.

I thought that would be the kind of thing that you know!

Good news:  I have a new favorite Eichel goal.

Bad news:  I now am trapped into watching/listening to the rest of this game.

Sabres first, work/life second.  Need to get your priorities straight.

Very good period.  However they really gave the Ducks an entry to get back into the game with two goals (thankfully one disallowed).

A moment nobody will remember in 5 years, but when Dahlin is Lidstrom-esque in his own zone, it will have contributed.

Absolutely. Still should have tied him up.

Thanks for the heads up

Just saying they can both be true. Great redirect. Soft D.

I think I’ve seen Risto and Vlad in front of a mic more this year than all of last year.

Nice to hear (earlier) Risto is happy but not satisfied.

Ya, I'd say it was more of an up-and-down period for him.

Still a lot of hockey to be played, but this is the 4th game that the other team hasn't taken time and space from the Sabres and also the 4th they've looked really good in the 1st period.

I honestly think that's it - I think we're all a little cozier than we usually are during games. I'm not stressing about cooking and doing dishes in the intermissions.

Life is good!

I am not wearing my uppers.

Damn it! Another view of that lineup of dignitaries before the first game at the Aud. I never did figure out who all those men are (besides the obvious ones).
