@Taro TWe are here for you if you need someone to talk to. Life takes funny turns sometimes, so we will get over this together. ?

Except, according to Vogl, that's not the roster.  And still expecting that none of those 4th liners are in the line up next week unless they really stand out these next 2 games.

Any word on the BJ's lineup?  Curious whether they're looking to have close to their NHL roster or looking to go heavily towards bubble players.

That must mean they're sending him to Rochester.

Or, as stated elsewhere he has an upper body injury that will keep him out of tonight's and the Pittsburgh warmup game.

After reviewing the Columbus roster there is no excuse for losing this game against their B team.

True.

Disappointed they aren't running an actual/ nearly NHL roster as as it won't tell us a whole lot where things work tonight.  (Of course, anything that DOESN'T work will have had volumes expressed.)

Mitts and Thompson are not ready for the NHL.

Let's see how Mittelstadt does in an actual 3rd scoring line C role this season before declaring him AHL fodder.

He looked OK/ good last year the last handful of games when he was the 3C and teamed with Sheary & WILSON (of all people).

Not forcing him to carry the 2nd line &/or the corpse of Pominville and Sobotka with the occasional Okposo thrown in for good measure down the stretch (and waaaaay too often w/ Okposo early in the year) actually gave him the chance to show he might be able to play hockey at this level like darn near everyone expected heading into last season.

Listening to Bulldog's 5pm segment with Rob Ray right now at WGR550.com.

Bulldog asked Rob if he would bet on another significant trade happening before opening day, and Rob said he'd be on it happening.

Not that Rob knows, but I thought it was an interesting comment.
