As a Canadian, I agree, keep him in Buffalo...............

But as a Sabres fan, I say spend some time looking over talent so maybe you can find players better then TT in your trades?

Shouldn't he be the GM for Sweeden though? He seems to be all over those players........

He's aware he can't bring American born NCAA players, right?

But Swedish defencemen are OK, right?

Hope this means Skinner and Reinhart are in.

They need some winning.

Is this also an opportunity for Botterill to get a feel for a new coach?

Dont they usual tap a name guy between gigs, like Quenville or Maclellan or Vigneault?

Is he going to trade O'Reilly for a mountain of garbage and a first round pick?

No, he'll start off the tourney hot and then lose every game after

Is there a way this Team Canada position can be made permanent?

I'd love for us to have to replace him this off-season!

He needs to be focusing his attention on finding a job.

Botterill's experience in a flat management structure must have been a deciding factor in his selection.

It's not a huge issue, but I don't see how this is a bad thing. Networking, building relationships, seeing other players, gaining knowledge. It's good for him and it can't hurt us. Nothing for him to really do here at that time that he can't do on his phone.
