So has UB passed SU on the national prominence scale?  They are a better team with better players and better recruiting. The only thing they lack is the cache that SU has.  I think if they haven't they will by next year. SU is is dying a slow death. Jim is losing his great recruiters and hasn't landed that many good players lately.

There’s no chance they have. Syracuse is still a national draw who play in the ACC and our three seasons removed from a final four berth. Boehiem is also a major presence.

UB hasn't surpassed them yet and it'll be interesting to see how the program does with the senior exodus about to happen. But Syracuse has definitely been in decline since joining the ACC with no signs of turning it around.
