Tallied seven assists in the Ducks' 17-game playoff run in 2017; has already played in 21 playoff games. 4. Was player of the year in the USHL in 2013-2014 5. Was the highest NHL draft pick in U. Mass.-Amherst history until some dude named Makar went fourth overall. 6. Nickname: Monty 7. In December, became the first NHL defenseman to record four points in the third period of a game in nearly 12 years, and first defenseman to score four points in any period in more than five years 8. Has several tattoos: on his left shoulder is the date 12-29-16, the day of his NHL debut and his mom’s birthday; on the inside of his left arm are the words, “Anything is possible if you believe" 9. Scored five game-winning goals last season for the Ducks, tying a franchise record for d-men 10. Played for AHL San Diego and had this to say about the experience: "Can’t beat that place.
