Sabres Fan in NS Posted January 14, 2019 Report Share Posted January 14, 2019 He was a good, although not very skilled, soldier. Good enough to have a long career in the NHL. I have said it before and I will always remember what he did. He was a skilled D for the NHL, but skilled in a way that's fallen out of favor. 15 years ago he'd still be playing, just the game has moved to focus on things that weren't his forte. Taro T Posted January 14, 2019 Report Share Posted January 14, 2019 Darn shame he got fed into the meat grinder that was the top defensive defenseman duty during a tank/rebuild there from. Probably knocked 3 years off his career. As others have said, he was a heck of a soldier for the B&G. Hope he has a successful next phase of his life.
