matter2003
Tampa Bay has a 10 point lead...on the second best team in hockey AND a game in hand! Still only have 8 regulation losses on the year...talk about a juggernaut...

Doohickie
The 1995-96 Red Wings had a total of 13 losses for the full season. They lost in the conference finals. They came in second in their division the next two years and won a Stanley Cup each year.

We went on a long run with Biron as our starter when Miller was out back in the post lockout days...probably not that unusual
Mustache of God
Just remember who delivered one of those losses to them. But yeah...that team is good.
GASabresIUFAN
Stamkos, Point, Kucherov, Gourde, Johnson, Palat, JT Miller and Killorn upfront with Hedman, Sergachev and McDonagh on defense. Other then Skinner, Eichel, and Dahlin, which Sabres would even make this team?

Reinhart, maybe (not fast enough) and Risto, I doubt it, not good enough defensively and they have bone crushers and Sergachev and Hedman to add to the offense. Doohickie
I remember watching him with the Yotes when we and they were tanking. Their announcers loved him and I think they actually used the word Dominguator as an homage to the Dominator (Hasek) when Domingue made an unbelievable save. That's my point even if you win that thing it really means nothing, although Washington won it and the SC last season. I wonder haw many PT winners actually won the SC. Can I get a #fanctstatguy, or a #nonfancystatguy to look into that, please. Thanks. Edited January 10, 2019 by New Scotland (NS) the Sabres won the PT once and were smoked in the CF

Considering 16 teams in the playoffs, that's got to be the highest rate of winning of any seeding, so it's not insignificant.

Walked into one rink with Tampa up huge and came out a few minutes later and Philly had tied it and then TBL found a way to win. But yeah.. their offense is insane.
