Aren't their supposed to be 3 D on the team? Apparently you can have 8 skaters. Why wouldn't you add a roster spot and create 3 line combo of 2 forwards and 1 D? True to the rest of this year's schedule which has been a joke as far as the Sabres are concerned, their "bye week" comes attached to the all-star break (instead of spreading out the rest over the course of the season), so we'll see. Our last game before the All Star game on the 26th is the 18th. Bye week being at this time only comes in handy if Jack is out more long term. But in that scenario he misses the next 8 games, so I'd be weary to see where their playoff hopes stand after that.
