I thought the broadcast mentioned it when he left that game or maybe it was WGR. I almost didn't post it because I couldn't find a source but that was said.

HIPAA.

That, and other teams potentially targeting the “injured area” once he returns.

I guess that gives me a slight hope that he'll play next weekend here in NC.

The Sabres without Eichel was like watching the Bills when JA was hurt.  I would not be surprised with the same result. Dismal offense. Hopefully the team finds some fire somewhere.

4th line isn’t going to be a role.  It’s going to be nothing more than minutes played and who he’s on the ice against.

Yup, and not a single line in this mix is going to have an identity or continuity. This will be a disaster.

Can one be day to day for a week?

Of course. I think what you were getting at is: if the team knows a player won't be in the next two games, can he accurately be called "day to day"?

Pretty much. Hopefully he walks away from the team under mysterious circumstances so that we can void his contract.

Yes, shirtless with back on the ice.

Good for you.  They say the first step to recovery is admitting that there is a problem.

"I'm starting to feel like myself again..."

Sounds like an illness.
