Not a popular opinion but Im fine with switching these lines up. The other day Phil said (paraphrasing) he would like more scoring from the bottom nine but the top line is scoring so well just don't get your head caved in.

Look, nobody is scoring other than the top line now anyways.  The defensive specialists are now spread out over the three lines.  We will continue to live and die by the top line, PP and defensive scoring.  Hopefully this way were more likely to keep the puck out of the net when the top line isn't out there.  My top wish list is a legit 2c to create another scoring line but until that happens I'm fine with mixing it up.

And going up against the Caps in their barn might not be a bad place to have at least 1 defensively responsible guy on every line ('ceptin' the 1st of course.  Wait, you spare the 1st line?  Nope, we use them to #### the #### out of Holtby at the #1 dance at the other end - with apologies to Mel Brooks and Richard Pryor).

It has been a long week.  I can't figure out a word you're saying and I usually can, or at least fake it.

Well, should I'd have said "of" rather than "off," (which use of "off" makes no sense at all) ; it was a stream of consciousness riff based on a scene from Blazing Saddles between Taggart & Hedley LaMarr while they were planning their raid on Rock Ridge.   The screenplay of which was written by Brooks & Pryor.

Sorry, but this doesn't really help.  it's been a long week for me as well.

So looking at those 2nd through 4th lines and all of us who agree with that almost famous quote by one of our veteran SS's,"Sobotka is where offense goes to die"

Why not try breaking up Larry and Zemgus. Make Zemgus play center, he has done this in his career before.

And either him or Larry becomes 2C center. Gives a lot more combinations that could be tried but i leave that exercise up to others.

I also know there will be opinions that's nothing more than shuffling deck chairs on the titanic...

At this point, they need to try anything that can get some scoring outside of the top line and the D.
