GDT - Maple Leaves @ Sabres - December 4, 2018 - 7:30 PM (EST)

Sabres Fan in NS

Recommended Posts

I just realized the game is on NBCSN... Now I am not upset in missing it.

I will imagine they will never shut up about the Leafs.  It will be excruciating to listen to.  Even if the Sabres do something excellent it will only be because the Leafs made a mistake.

Bah.

The arena is going to be uuuuuuuuugly tonight. I wonder if NBCSN is going to cheat the Sabres fans out for the third game in a row with the other team's announcers on a "national" broadcast. What a joke that is. ***** you, NBCSN.

The Sabres show up for these games and this one is going to be intense and exciting, and after three losses in a row, really needs to be a win. Is it Nylander's first game?

Maguire is doing the game and so is Ferraro, so it looks like national guys.

Leaf fans are a given, but it is my hope that ticket holders will actually be hanging on to their tickets and coming in ready to do battle.

Maguire is not expecting Nylander.

Look forward to these match ups as soon as the schedule is dropped.  Like to see a solid effort from the lads.  Disciplined puck support, stay out of the box and a metric ***** ton of shots and they have a punchers chances.  Go Sabres!

I'm glad Sheary is back -- they need to change up the lines and try to get some 2ndary scoring, and they should probably change the PP lineup too.

I'd like to see:

Skinner-Eichel-Reino

Sheary-Mitts-TT

ERod-Sobotka-KO

Bergy-Larsson-Zemgus -- with this line getting a bunch of shifts vs Matthews' line

PP1:  Skinner, Eichel, Reino, Mitts, Dahlin

PP2:  Sheary, ERod, KO, Risto, Pilut

Would be shocked if Housley breaks up Mittelstadt-Okposo, but I like those lines.  (Glad to see people are finally coming around to keeping the 1st line together.)

Jack either doesn't score tonight or he gets 2.  Once he gets one, I think the floodgates will open.  He's a little snakebit on goals scoring right now.  But he is playing very well and racking up the assists.  He won't let Auston overshadow him tonight.

From your fingers to Botterill's fax machine to Phil's ears

Despite Okposo's game yesterday, his muscle and abilities relative to Elie could very well mesh with ERod and Sobotka.
