Jack Eichel **** high ankle sprain

Another high ankle sprain, this time on the other leg. We'll see him in late March at the earliest, but very easily he's out for the rest of the season. I am NOT saying he's injury prone, but he definitely could beneift from more focused leg strengthening rehab between now and October.

I was wondering if it was the same leg. Happy that it's not a recurring injury on the same leg.

The last 30 games needed to be like the past 10 - proof that playing Phil’s way is putting them on the right path.

It’s going to be very hard to win games without the player contributing the highest percentage of offence to his team in the entire NHL.

A real morale-buster.

Is there a silver lining ? Its not a knee its an ankle. He could be done for the season. He could be back. Hopefully they're being overly cautious and it'll play out that its not as serious. Not sure how to take this. Remove the engine from your car it don't run too good. Stallin for Dahlin.

I don’t see any positives or silver linings to this at all.

There are none. Our franchise player has now suffered major injuries in 2 of his first 3 seasons, damaging not one, but both of his ankles. Which he uses to skate, of course.

It’s completely terrible.
