DEADLINE DAY -- Sabres trade speculation

Harrington is a real @#$%.   LOL!!!  Look at some of those tweeted replies to Mike Straw regarding the Lehner discussion.   Harrington got all butthurt about a comment I made on a BN story - I thought it was funny.   I guess he just loves to tout that he's a real "journalist" and we're not.

Matt Straw comes across as more credible and more dignified in his replies than Harrington, IMHO.

We can still call Smolinski smug though, right?

That was my point. Maybe they are effectively trading their UFA (Stastny) for a UFA they like better (Kane)

Absolutely.

Sorry for the poor multiquote format.

Here's how the overall issue was first raised.

And then in response to something d4rk posted (which I have had dropped from my multiquote for some reason), there was this from Promo:

So, Promo was the one who raised it as an issue. Said that "others" call Kane smug. No one on here, though.

Got it; thanks for the recap.

There was no need for Harrington to get as rough as he did there.

Harrington, who I don't think has ever broken a Sabres story or really done anything other than throw a temper tantrum at a presser and make the same observations about the team that any fan could make, has zero business sneering at non-MSMers for not being "journalists."
