(Science must study your brain.) Yours, too. Because you concocted a theory I hadn't thought of. In a nutshell, the entities behind the government, which is the entity behind the NWS, seem to have a very clear agenda: keep everybody workin' for the weekend. That screenshot? I could post it many times a year. It happened last week. We were in store for a glorious stretch of weather starting late in the week thru even today. It didn't happen. Is forecasting exact? No. Should uncertainty in the outlook have been baked in given a major storm coming up the coast? Absolutely. There was no uncertainty. I ask why. Why? Edited September 30 by PASabreFan 1 Quote

Honest to God, I think your mind is (and memory is) such that you better remember stuff I've posted here than I do. Okay. So, for this weekend, that's an interesting matter. As soon as this coming weekend was within forecasting range, the NWS forecast was for r fair, sunny conditions -- then WHAM -- that forecast shifted to 50-60% chance of rain, mostly cloudy. Then less than 12 hours later -- WHAM -- the NWS forecast was back to pleasant weekend weather. It was jarring. I've got my eyes on it now. Especially given that there's a football game on Sunday. Yeah, I like how they hold together in bison dip. They are a superior chip. Occasionally I want the OG lays still tho. Quote
