She was 37 pounds so definitely a decent weight for a female coyote around here.

I would guess a 37 pound coyote is nearly the size of a German shepherd; they tend to be skinnier for a given frame size than a domestic dog, innit?

I am saving this and sending it to everyone next time I get asked.

Oh, and I've mentioned going to Buffalo Bros near TCU to watch the Bills games, right?

You did. I haven't made it out there yet, but it's on the things to do list. I saw they had Beef on Weck so it's worth the trip for that alone. When I lived in Grapevine, I used to go to Duff's in Southlake all the time. Even bought the shirt because nothing confuses my friends and family more than wearing a shirt that says "Duff's Southlake TX" on it.

Smaller than adult GSD, but much bigger than a 37lb dog. The legs are longer and the bodies are shorter. I had a Belgian Malinois that was 55lbs and the coyote was roughly the same size.

Yeah, you might have told me Granbury in the past.  That sounds familiar.  What threw me off was when you said North Central Texas; I was thinking further west.

Show people this map of Connecticut superimposed over North Texas... that might give them a clue.  It shows Granbury and Mansfield too.  I live in Fort Worth; my son and his wife live in Plano (upper right).  It's a solid hour+ drive to see them.

I'm actually a bit scared that I recognized that as Connecticut before I even read a single word of your post.

He's done better. But I couldn't share it with anyone else who'd have gotten any of the references.

And I'd have gone with "THE 190"

Two things.

It’s Rich Staduim always and forever.

And the sponge candy should be from Platter’s.

Is this right? What if I buy 1,000 tickets?

"You can always increase your chances by simply buying more tickets. As Springfield College Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science Andrew Perry explained to Nexstar’s WWLP, buying 100 tickets would cut your odds to about 1 in 2.92 million instead of 1 in 292.2 million."

Assuming each ticket is different, yes.  Try to predict a die roll.  If you get two choices you've doubled your chance.  It's the same idea.

I'm really good at predicting dice rolls.

It's gonna be 7 more often than it isn't. 😉

Um, Dice is plural.

Indeed it is.  Look at shader's post:  "Try to predict a die roll."  Unedited as of 11:10pm EST, Nov 9, 2022.  There is context here that you may have missed!  And my post was in fun anyway.
