Pierre LeBrun @Real_ESPNLeBrun Sens GM Bryan Murray says he had a deal that made sense potentially with Nashville for Spezza but Spezza wouldn't waive to go there Nashville is one of the many teams that will make a run at Statsny. St. Louis is the next spot I would expect to see. Could see Minnesota, St. Louis and Dallas bidding hard for him when Stastny signs. Whoever doesn't get him between those three will get involved heavily. Mike Harrington @BNHarrington Arizona GM Don Maloney told me Darcy Regier remains a candidate for an AGM position. Hopes to make couple hires after July 1. #Sabres Seems like Maloney is thinking "alright, let's hire Regier but wait until after all of the important decisions are made." Allows agents/players/teams to discuss for a day or two and then regather before getting back to it to see how serious the interest is both ways. If they do, then the Sabres have already quit the bottle (grabbing Reinhart) and will be in rehab (grabbing Eichel) soon. I'm fully expecting a bad team this season.
