The Avalanche chose Stastny in the second round, 44th overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. In 164 career games, Stastny has scored 55 goals and added 109 assists. That's Vanek's game, unlike Stastny who is a playmaking center. Edit: I bet we could afford his brother. Undersized, you say? We'll take him! That's Vanek's game, unlike Stastny who is a playmaking center. Quite honestly, I'd rather have a point per game guy. You have to have your natural goal scores (I'm talking 40+ goal scorers) and you need the guys who can set them up.
