Sabres coach Lindy Ruff dropped a hint about a possible trade, telling the Buffalo News that it may take a new home for the player to realize his potential. "It may not happen here. I wouldn't read anything more into it. I doubt anything is pending. I'm sure Lindy will tell you anyone can be traded at any time if it helps the team. Especially if he continues to play like he did last night. Looked like he had a pretty good presence on the ice, especially in the offensive zone. Looked like he had a pretty good presence on the ice, especially in the offensive zone. Just think of how much better the line would've been without that waste of space Peters out there. Gaustad can fight. Mair can fight (if he ever comes back). Hell, even Grier will drop the gloves if he needs to (Kasparitis). All three of these players bring much more to the ice than just being willing to fight. Peters adds absolutely nothing.
