  1. Another good win for the Buffalo Sabres and UPL in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
  2. Another Buffalo Sabres loss. The bottom line is this Sabres core of Tage Thompson, Alex Tuch, Dylan Cozens aren’t good enough. In the offseason the Sabres need a major block buster trade like when the Sabres moved Jim Schoenfeld, Danny Gare, Derek Smith and Bob Sauve to the Detroit Red Wings in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
  3. The Buffalo Sabres need to stop firing head coaches and general managers. If the Sabres don’t make the playoffs this season. I would trade both Tage Thompson and Alex Tuch in the offseason there not good enough to be a core the Sabres build around for years. Move them now while they have trade value because it’s obvious neither one are leaders. As a Sabres fan I have seen enough of those two players to move on from them in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
  4. Terrible Buffalo Sabres loss tonight to the Seattle Kraken. It’s well past the time for the Sabres to fire Don Granato in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
  5. You know what I have been a Buffalo Sabres fan since 1975. I am one of those Buffalo Sabres fan that feels that way now because Terry Pegula is a terrible hockey owner. And if New York State are going to give public money away to renovate Key Bank Center why not look for other owners that might be interested in getting that public money owning a team in Buffalo either in the NHL or NBA. New Orleans Pelicans and Minnesota Timberwolves might be enticed by free public money. Same with the Arizona Coyotes, Florida Panthers, Ottawa Senators and Calgary Flames in the NHL. The area is going to potentially give a terrible hockey owner public money for what? Terry Pegula is a terrible hockey owner he needs to be forced to sell the Buffalo Sabres or just don’t extend his Key Bank Center lease when it is up. Tell the NHL that Buffalo is willing to work with the NHL but not with Terry Pegula owning the Buffalo Sabres franchise. Embarrass Terry Pegula good among his NHL owners. Enough is enough with Terry Pegula owner of the Buffalo Sabres he is cheap like Toronto Maple Leafs Harold Ballard who ironically also owned a CFL football franchise in the Hamilton Tiger Cats. And like Harold Ballard Terry Pegula has said some stupid off the cuff comments from the first day he introduced himself to the Buffalo News reporters and Buffalo Sabres fans. He made one stupid comment after the other that is why the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres are hiding Terry Pegula from much public speaking. I don’t think Terry Pegula has any interest anymore in going for a Stanley Cup for the Buffalo Sabres. Terry Pegula changed courses with the Buffalo Sabres when he bought the Buffalo Bills he has very little interest in the Buffalo Sabres anymore. Sell the Buffalo Sabres Terry Pegula in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
  6. Good Buffalo Sabres win over the rival Montreal Canadians in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
  7. Another loss that Buffalo Sabres need major changes in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
  8. Even if there was zero fans at the Buffalo Sabres games it doesn’t matter to Terry Pegula because he offsets the losses with his huge Buffalo Bills profits. Plus he runs everything entertainment wise out of Key Bank Center. New York State just handed Terry Pegula $850 million dollars of public tax dollars so it’s like he got the Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bandits and control of Key Bank Center for free think about it. The Buffalo sports teams may lose but Terry Pegula is a winner in the most important scoreboard category for owners profits. So I don’t see the Sabres going anywhere like moving out of Buffalo and Terry Pegula doesn’t have to do a thing as values continue to climb for NFL and NHL franchises. When the new Bills Stadium opens he is going to get foolish Bills fans to pay him PSL’s for the right to buy a Bills ticket on top of the $850 million dollars the state gave him and he is going to go after another bit at the New York Apple when his Sabres Key Bank Center lease is up in a few years for more free public tax dollars it’s good to be the King Terry Pegula. Like I said in the past get use to Buffalo always has a NHL franchise but don’t expect much more than that from Terry Pegula ownership. He probably figures eventually I will get lucky like the Buffalo Bills with the Buffalo Sabres so he isn’t going to do anything but count his free tax dollars money, Bills PSL’s money and tax write offs on the Sabres losses and it’s legal for billionaire rich people like I said it’s good to be the King Terry Pegula in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
  9. Fire Don Granato hire Michael Peca as Buffalo Sabres head coach is what I would do. Let Michael Peca take over now to get an idea what he has with the Sabres. Then make changes Michael Peca wants in the offseason. I would move Alex Tuch while he still has value. Alex Tuch isn’t a top line player and isn’t a money player that the Sabres can rely on unfortunately. I am also open to trading Owen Power he isn’t getting better and seems in a fog on the ice the Sabres should think about moving him maybe in a package with Alex Tuch you got to give up good players to get a good player in return. Don’t sign Kyle Okposo to any more contracts he is washed up in the NHL and I doubt that the Buffalo Sabres would be able to trade him Kyle Okposo he is so washed up he can’t keep up with the play anymore. I think Gordie Howe at 51 years old his final NHL season is faster than Kyle Okposo he skates like he has a piano on his back. The Buffalo Sabres need to trade a number of players to get a proven goal scorer like as example when the Sabres acquired Pat LaFontaine that Sabres fans will actually want to go see play. The Buffalo Sabres don’t have anyone you got to go see play forward wise. Jack Eichel unfortunately failed to play up to that lofty draft hype. Also acquire an experienced NHL goaltender packaging a goalie UPL so the team has a goalie in return in a goaltender trade package in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
  10. The Buffalo Sabres aren’t going to move to Salt Lake City because mainly it’s in the Western Conference. But also there are larger television markets with more affluent markets with money like Houston and Atlanta. The problem with moving the Sabres out of Buffalo is that the NHL owners lose a market that they can get a huge expansion fee from. Also it ends Terry Pegula’s Buffalo Bills ownership most likely. Terry Pegula never overcomes that as a Buffalo Bills owner being the person that sends Buffalo’s major hockey franchise out of town. Trust me Terry Pegula isn’t doing that. Now could Terry Pegula find a place holder owner that buys the Buffalo Sabres keeps them in Buffalo for awhile so he can say it wasn’t me possibly. But Buffalo and New York State politicians will want Terry Pegula out of the Buffalo Bills ownership and I am sure New York State will lean on him to sell the Buffalo Bills to another owner like Washington politicians did to Washington Commanders owner Daniel Snyder. It’s not that simple for Terry Pegula to sell the Sabres down the River and keep the Bills also. Like I said the only way Terry Pegula can possibly do it if he finds a placeholder ownership for the Buffalo Sabres like the Buffalo Braves owner Paul Snyder did with John Y. Brown. Buffalo fans still blamed Paul Snyder for moving the Buffalo Braves anyway when technically he didn’t move them John Y. Brown did. Also the difference is Paul Snyder didn’t own another Buffalo professional franchise at the same time so he could drop back into the Buffalo business world, not talk about the NBA Buffalo Braves until recently and Paul Snyder is in his 80’s. Terry Pegula isn’t going to be able to continue as Buffalo Bills owner he will have to sell all three Buffalo franchises the Buffalo Bills, Sabres and Buffalo Bandits if he plans on selling the Buffalo Sabres out of town. Just holding onto the money losing Rochester franchises because there aren’t enough fans in Rochester that care to even notice Terry Pegula as owner of the Rochester sports franchises in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
  11. Only watched part of the first period because of the Buffalo Bills game. Watching now on Buffalo Sabres replay. Another loss for the Sabres UPL isn’t the answer for a number one goalie. But I have been saying that since Devon Levi signed with the Sabres. Onto the Boston Bruins game Wednesday in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
  12. One Buffalo Sabres win hasn’t changed my mind that the Sabres are underachievers. This game is actually an example why Don Granato needs to be fired. Because the talent is there on the Sabres Don Granato just doesn’t have the answers to get the Sabres to play consistently every game in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
  13. It was crushing for the Buffalo Sabres franchise because he had a name to help sell tickets. Yes Patrick Kane’s best days are behind him but he has marquee which the Buffalo Sabres need to sell tickets. When the Buffalo Sabres ask for public money New York State residents are going to say you can’t fill the arena why should Buffalo and New York State make that public investment? The Buffalo Sabres attendance is a huge problem now in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
  14. I agree with all of that and flipping Rasmus Dahlin and Owen Power for a proven goal scoring forward that draws interest from casual hockey fans. Too much money in mid card hockey players that don’t fill seats that was a huge mistake by Terry Pegula and Kevyn Adams. They need a Alex Mogilny that fans want to come see play. It also hurts that Rasmus Dahlin and Owen Power have no personality so there just there they’re not gate attraction marquee stars like a Buffalo Bills Josh Allen or a Stefon Diggs who both have personality. The Sabres have way too many players with next to zero personality which is a huge problem when the Sabres are struggling to sell tickets. There is a lot of elitism with the Sabres players let the fans eat cake. Good luck drawing Buffalo fans with the attitude last night was not a good look for the Sabres organization. Buffalo fans are fed up and speaking with their wallets the heck with the Sabres which is sad. The Sabres players being in denial with ridiculous excuses doesn’t help the present situation in my opinion. Go Sabres! Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo
  15. Beyond firing the head coach and general manager this roster needs changes if the Buffalo Sabres are going to survive in the city of Buffalo long term. The problem I see as a Buffalo Sabres fan of 49 years is that a large portion of the Buffalo fans won’t go to games anymore because the Sabres aren’t winning. You can’t guarantee winning but you can guarantee entertaining. Where Terry Pegula and Kevyn Adams screwed up is dumping all there franchise money into defenseman Rasmus Dahlin and Owen Power. Unless you are Bobby Orr that is a huge mistake for a small market hockey city to dump money into defensemen. Think about the history of the Buffalo Sabres when did Punch Imlach, Scotty Bowman and the Knox Brothers dump all their money into expensive franchise defensemen? They didn’t the money went to the Gilbert Perrault, Rick Martin, Danny Gare, etc. The Buffalo Sabres always had scoring forwards that put Buffalo fans in the seats. I get it Jack Eichel didn’t work out but to turn around and dump your big money in defenseman is a luxury for big market teams that draw regardless like the Toronto Maple Leafs, Boston Bruins and New York Rangers. I personally wouldn’t have signed those deals I would have moved both of them for proven goal scorers like Rene Robert, Pat LaFontaine etc. The Sabres will never draw with Rasmus Dahlin and Owen Power there mid card hockey players on a professional wrestling card. You need Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair not Hillbilly Jim and Uncle Elmer. That is what the Buffalo Sabres are mid card hockey players that can’t draw the owner money. I guarantee if Terry Pegula sold the Sabres the new owners would flip Rasmus Dahlin and Owen Power for scorers right away. That is why losing out on once was Patrick Kane to the Detroit Red Wings was crushing to the long term future of the Sabres franchise in Buffalo. Few want to see $11 million dollars defenseman get 50 to 60 points that doesn’t sell tickets or excitement other than hard core hockey fans which makes the Sabres tickets a tough sell to the casual fans. This is a seriously flawed ownership that doesn’t know how to basically sell hockey entertainment that is why long term the Sabres are in serious trouble when that lease is up in a few years. Terry Pegula seems half interested at best which is a problem. But Rasmus Dahlin and Owen Power need to packaged in a series of moves to get the Sabres a proven goal scorer that produces yearly. Dahlin and Power are no use for saving the Sabres from leaving Buffalo. The Sabres needed to flip Jack Eichel for another proven star player main card hockey player not pieces of mid card hockey players. The Sabres have too many mid card hockey players on the Sabres roster that cost a lot of money but they don’t fill the seats so that is crushing for drawing Buffalo casual Sabres fans in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
  16. Disagree that is what the greedy owners of the Buffalo Sabres want you to believe. Between Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Erie there is plenty of population for a major league indoor sports team. I wouldn’t bring NHL hockey back at all. I would go after the struggling NBA team the New Orleans Pelicans and move them to Buffalo in a renovated Key Bank Center because the NBA is a much bigger league like the NFL today than the NHL that actually has gone backwards. When the NHL took physical contact and fighting out of the game they turned the NHL into MLS on ice. The problem is this area fell in love with Buffalo Sabres NHL hockey of the 1970’s through 1990’s. The NHL isn’t like that anymore because of CTE so it’s become boring television product especially when your team is losing. The NBA with college basketball like the NFL with college football it’s just a bigger deal. Buffalo Wings renamed New Orleans Pelicans NBA team against the Toronto Raptors and Boston Celtics would be huge here today and more popular than the sorry NHL product of today. Tonight’s Buffalo Sabres game was a embarrassment and I have no idea how Don Granato isn’t fired and it’s at the point where I am starting after 49 years as a Buffalo Sabres fan to not care anymore what excuses that fool Terry Pegula has he is a incompetent sports team owner that frankly doesn’t care. Terry Pegula has no guts as a sports team owner let’s just tell it like it is to fire Don Granato who is useless as a head coach in the NHL. The whole Buffalo Sabres organization is an embarrassment under Terry Pegula just contract the team and bring NBA back to Buffalo with Buffalo local ownership that isn’t Terry Pegula in my opinion. Go Wings! Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
  17. No because the Buffalo Bandits have won championships regardless of the owners because they are regular jobs Monday through Friday. The top salary is like $35,000 a year for a NLL player. So the NLL championship ring and extra playoff pay means something to the Bandits players to dig deep down to win championships. See Buffalo Stampede RHI Roller Hockey back in the day same deal. The Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres players live in fantasy land they get millions regardless and the long term contracts aren’t easy to trade when said player badly underachieves. Buffalo Super Fan what are you saying? I am saying the Bills and Sabres can’t be fixed if a fan is looking for a championship from either one of those two teams you’re going to be disappointed. Why because Buffalo is too small of a market economically and socially today with not much for the young athlete to do today to entice free agents to come play in Buffalo. You put Buffalo in the CFL football and AHL hockey Buffalo would win championships overtime because we are with our economic and social peers today. The worse thing Key Bank Center did was not finding local Buffalo investors for the Buffalo Blizzard indoor soccer and Buffalo Destroyers arena football because Buffalo could compete for championships in those leagues. The odds are very long that the Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bills are ever winning a championship. Exist in the NHL and NFL yes winning a championship no. That is why I never understood why Terry Pegula wouldn’t just buy more Buffalo teams in minor pro sports to win championships for Buffalo and take the heat off his Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres ownership he owns. If I am Terry Pegula I buy more minor pro sports teams for my Key Bank Center the more Buffalo teams one owns the odds are in your favor to win a championship for Buffalo. I wouldn’t be fooling around in Rochester. My goodness the Buffalo Blizzard and Buffalo Destroyers outdraw the Rochester Knighthawks. The Rochester Americans never drew huge crowds like the Buffalo Blizzard or the Buffalo Destroyers. Yes I get it part of that is our arena is much larger capacity wise but still you’re not drawing 12,000 plus to Rochester sports games today in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
  18. Another terrible loss by the Buffalo Sabres against the Arizona Coyotes. The Sabres are going no where with Don Granato as head coach. It’s time for the Sabres to make a head coaching change and see if the Sabres can save what remains of their season before it’s too late for the playoffs in 2023-24 season in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
  19. Good win for the Buffalo Sabres over the defending Stanley Cup champions Vegas Golden Knights. Devon Levi, Zack Benson and Dylan Cozens were outstanding tonight onto the Arizona Coyotes game tomorrow in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
  20. The Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bandits will stay for two reasons one having Key Bank Center with events is huge for downtown Buffalo. Two cities don’t have the demand for NHL franchises like NFL franchises. I think eventually the Buffalo Sabres will be sold to local area business people. Again Key Bank Center will be renovated and a real local owner will run the Key Bank Center better like the first five years Marine Midland Arena was opened. There is zero reason that this city of Buffalo doesn’t have a Arena Football League team or a MASL indoor soccer team the Buffalo Blizzard back. The AFL franchise fee to enter was $2 million dollars a franchise. Terry Pegula is a joke of a Buffalo sports team owner that just wants to do very little and charging high ticket prices with low seating supply. Terry Pegula has no college basketball, no arena football and no indoor soccer at Key Bank Center forcing the fan towards high end sports tickets like the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres by taking out sports choice and decreasing the supply by making his stadiums smaller what could go wrong? The problem is many Buffalo fans don’t have the luxury to just toss there money out to Terry Pegula for a terrible Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bills product for season tickets. I had season tickets for the Buffalo Bandits, Buffalo Blizzard Buffalo Destroyers and Buffalo Wings RHI roller hockey plus Buffalo Big 4 college basketball season tickets when the Marine Midland Arena first opened. Terry Pegula doesn’t see wait let’s offer more cheaper affordable Buffalo sports teams that I (Terry Pegula) win with that too because your reaching different Buffalo sports economic audiences going to the Buffalo Bandits, Destroyers and Buffalo Blizzard either way Buffalo fans are going to Key Bank Center producing revenue for Key Bank Center. Terry Pegula never understood that he wants to take the easy way out and be a absentee sports owner. What he wasted on overpaying a fourth line Sabres player covers his whole payroll for the Buffalo Blizzard or Buffalo Destroyers. Again these smaller sports leagues aren’t $2 billion dollars to buy and run. The salaries are low $500 to $1,000 a game for the players. Someone who is smarter and actually cares about downtown Buffalo and Key Bank Center filling dates will buy the Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bandits along with control of the renovated Key Bank Center. I am not even worried about it at all. Either way downtown Buffalo gets rid of Terry Pegula if he takes his Buffalo Sabres ball and goes home which hopefully he doesn’t but if he does good riddance if he chooses that route. At worst Buffalo will get a Buffalo AHL hockey franchise plus all the fun stuff I mentioned like the Buffalo Destroyers, Buffalo Blizzard etc back at Key Bank Center with a real local owner not a absentee owner from Florida in my opinion. Go Sabres! Go Bandits! Let’s Go Buffalo
  21. Another loss by the Buffalo Sabres. The Colorado Avalanche dominated the Sabres from the very beginning tonight onto the Vegas Golden Knights game Friday in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
  22. Another good win for the Buffalo Sabres tonight over the Arizona Coyotes. The Sabres are finally getting off to good starts, playing some defense in their own zone which is helping there offensive game where they don’t have to press in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
  23. Don Granato will be fired at the end of the season if the Buffalo Sabres don’t make the playoffs. The only question is do the Sabres fire Kevyn Adams? I would fire Kevyn Adams also but then Terry Pegula is flying the airplane (Buffalo Sabres) in the dark alone with no co pilot Kevyn Adams which is scary to think about. Because clearly Terry Pegula has made poor hiring decisions with the Buffalo Sabres. But a good NHL coach might want total control to come to Buffalo like Scotty Bowman wanted which means giving them the Sabres GM position too. Which I am fine with if the Sabres get a top shelf proven NHL coach in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
  24. The Buffalo Sabres had a good pair of games getting 3 out of 4 points with Devon Levi in the nets against Boston and Montreal. The Sabres need to avoid long stretches of losing where they get no points that is potentially going to cost the Sabres at the end of the season. When the Sabres are trying to get into the playoffs in my opinion. Go Sabres! Let’s Go Buffalo
