Yeah, Pegula is setting this up for his $900 Million sale. First thing you do is have the team crash and burn while watching the coach talk about getting back to work right now. Scary stuff. I was there as a teenager during the Clint Malarchuk game, my friend’s aunt was Bob Rich’s personal secretary so needless to say the seats were close to the ice. Everyone started throwing up near there when it happened live & in person it’s very scary. I can’t believe players don’t wear neck guards, I had to wear one every game as a child. Growing up there my best friend’s Aunt was Bob’s personal secretary, we got 11 tickets to the Sabres Aud games all the time. 4 lower gold, 5 upper gold but first row & 2 blue. My friend didn’t care about money & we sold the tickets we didn’t need for food and booze money, always a great time.

It’s more of a risk to not have this type of drive on the ice, he’s a machine & anyone thinking different never played hockey. I know we have a lot of fans on here, I played and he’s the teammate you want and opponent you fear.

Doubting someone who plays this well now in itself is stupid, age is irrelevant & he’s money. We need money players.

It’s super expensive for games & we’re playoff less for a very long time. Don’t act like you’d miss these folks owning it, also the food is inedible there (hence the change for that). The food surrounding the arena is off the chart good, going to eat after games makes si much sense. Ironically my cell phone calls me Mr pooper pants as a previously set up joke. I don’t know how to change that but I don’t really want too. Good catch.

Kim Pegula was our 40-50 year owner, life expectancy for billionaire women is typically very high. This is simply not good. Also thinking a billionaire wouldn’t cash out for profit is naive, how do you think they got that rich ??

All that land never built on, lots of promises but no action. It’s odd he’d put on this big a show to only fail, you’d think billions would be enough especially after the serious health issues.

I was told Pegs did the split to sell the Sabres at a profit, staying in-town wasn’t assured. Current arena is crap, he privately sold land all around there to eliminate assets. Wife won’t be around to change anything & she liked to run the Sabres organization into the ground, no longer a concern.
