  1. Looks like Mahomes is finally going to have to play a road playoff game.
  2. GMKA has done a good job collecting talent. That was the easy part. Unfortunately he's shown no evidence that he knows how to build a team with all the assets he acquired. The hard part is making the tough decisions which should have started last summer and he's failed so far. Even if all these prospects pan out (and they probably won't) there's no room for everybody. They need to package some of these prospects for solid role players because free agency won't help. Faceoffs anyone? But I heard they don't matter. As for coaching when I keep seeing the same mistakes over and over again with no accountability something needs to change. There's a lack of compete, identity and structure. And because of that I feel like they go into every game not knowing what they are and what they want to be and that's going to keep holding them back.
  3. Time for a new coach. There's no compete, identity or structure. They keep having the same breakdowns over and over again with no accountability.
  4. Since there was no realistic trade options and most of the ufa's stayed put a Jeremy Swayman offer sheet was the answer but unfortunately nhl gm's are too afraid to use that option. A Swayman - Levi tandem would have been very ideal for the next 3-4 years. Boston had no cap space so this could have been very doable for a reasonable price and who cares about possible future retaliation.
  5. The Bills are making the same mistake that they made with Marv Levy. Mcdermott gets badly outcoached year after year in the playoffs and they need to make a change and swing for the fences while the window is still open. Levy should have been let go after the 3rd super bowl or maybe even the 2nd one. He was outcoached that badly. No team has ever started the same quarterback under the same head coach for more than five years and seen that duo win its first championship. As for Granato he's definitely a good development coach but I doubt he will ever get the Sabres to the next level. This reminds me of Denis Savard when he was coaching the Blackhawks. He started the turnaround but when it was time to win he was quickly replaced by Joel Quenneville who was waiting in the wings in a consulting role. It won't happen but I think Gerard Gallant would be a good candidate. Does this look familiar?
  6. Seems excessive. I think he will appeal it down to 2 games. Matthews got 2 for the Dahlin cross check last year.
  7. He's lazy and insecure so he makes up things "the fans" say to make himself sound smart. Too bad Twitter has a search function and there's literally no evidence of anything he claimed. Sorry if I'm being Captain Obvious. Schopp and The Bulldog calling him out on Thursday was somehow funny cringe and sad at the same time. Of course it went right over his head and he just laughed it off. Then on Friday morning he pulled the same nonsense not once but twice.
