Nobody wants our spare parts and 4th line players. They want our prospects. They should dump the entire fourth line for a bag of pucks or just waive them. Bring up prospects for a 4th line and development. A veteran, hard ass coach is the first move.

Not sure why Jack would sign a long term contract with this team. Hall will sense that and not return. Reinhardt won't skate unless he is with Jack. They are still delusional about Risto. Skinner and Dahlin have regressed. There is poison somewhere in that locker room. Too many guys with too much losing. Sorry to say, but dump all the vets (Jack too) and start over.

He's just another puck moving defenseman. Nothing special. Good shot on the powerplay, but can't keep it in at the point. That might be who he is. So don't pay him like the player you want him to be. Pay him for who he is.
