A pair of Cardinals made their home in a large pine tree just outside my office window. I’ve never seen their nest, but it is overwhelmingly apparent when they have babies present. They’ll aggressively defend their tree. Unfortunately “window” is a concept they have yet to grasp. I’m unsure if they see their own refelection or if they hate me. Either way, they repeatedly bash themselves into my window. But it’s cool to observe them from up close. Beats looking at my monitors!

That’s a fantastic stat! Last year, not a single defenseman scored through the first 28 games. Not one. All 7 of our defenseman have scored this year, totaling 12 goals already.

I drink my coffee black. Generally I like it pretty strong too. Dark roast, or an espresso infused flavor. I only drink coffee at work. Don’t even own my own coffee maker, actually! But I’ll have it every day at work. Just a cup or two.

I paid a pretty penny to attend the 9-2 massacre of Ottawa. But that was a Saturday game, and I needed 6 seats together. It’s refreshing to see tickets worth something on the secondary market! Even if it’s only the prime games that spike. You wanna talk about expensive.. I thought about getting my brother-in-law some Rangers tickets for Christmas. Figured we could visit NYC and catch a game at MSG, the four of us. Uhhhh, scratch that thought.
