  1. This team just isn't very good. They're improperly built, and the parts they do have are misused.

We've pumped so much into the defense and it shows. But then you completely abandon Diggs and Kincaid for large stretches of the game. Playcalls coming in late leading to wasted timeouts. Runs on 2nd and long. It's all surprisingly sloppy.

Not looking promising this week. Not sure exactly what it is with the offense, but I agree with Josh when he says we have to execute. They aren't executing.

They haven't looked promising since mid-season last year.

They still could very well win this game. But it shouldn't look like this. I don't believe the coaching staff and front office have made the most of their opportunities presented them over the last four years, and it has led to the product we see today.

You need a credible run game to make play-action work. It sounds like the Bills may actually be successfully running the ball lately, so it's just so crazy it might work.

    You actually don't.

  4. Why didn't they go for two on the second TD? I feel like the math makes sense there.

You either go up 4 or 6 instead of 5. Either way, 4 or 5 requires a TD to beat you. If you make it, 6 makes them make the XP. If you stop them, a FG makes it 7 or 9.

Maybe I'm making a bigger deal of this than it is, but that seems like a detail that somebody on the staff should be paying attention to. It didn't make a difference tonight, but it could have, and it would matter against a better team.

I'd be interested to see how much time the Buffalo D spent on the field today. They did amazing work, but the offense.......does Dorsey know he can adjust his game plan during the game to try and get better results?

    35 minutes so far.

  6. As horribly as Elam is playing, im having a hard time not pointing my spotlight on the seven points that they have managed to score today. I know that the Jags have a great defense, but you gotta show up. And when your defense is playing a bunch of 2nd stringers, you need to turn it up even more.

  7. There was some bad playcalling, but Josh looked bad out there. Couldn't even find receivers, ran into pressure, and refuses to avoid a hit.

Our WOF safety pairing looks washed. White is out there missing tackles. ILB is an issue. The pass rush is about the only part of this team that is working right now. It had better be, we've invested enough into it.

I hear a lot of people saying this would have been worse if Rodgers stayed in, and I'm not so sure about that. If he survives that play, he would have gotten knocked out some time later. He was a statue out there, and Rousseau and Floyd were getting in every time.

Feels like a lot of the same problems as last year.
