I have friends who went to that Indy game and loved every minute of it.

That Indy game is like the only way a heavy snow game can be fun because it was so ridiculously snowy and we won. If the Colts crushed the Bills that day it would’ve been a miserable experience.

I would’ve advocate for a retractable roof that’s closed in cold/rain conditions and open in snow conditions unless it’s a storm.

Best to go to the southern side of Charlotte. A lot of the North, Northern Westside and Northern Eastside are pretty bad. Tryon Hills, Druid Hills, Enderly Park, the Plaza neighborhoods are all not very nice. A friend of mine moved there not long ago. He showed me some of the bad areas. As beautiful as the city is, there is a lot of gang activity inside of some of those neighborhoods. And a lot of those neighborhoods aren't like the ghetto neighborhoods you see around the northern cities. Some of them look like decent places, but are far from it.

Plaza Midwood is a fantastic neighborhood as is NoDa. Country Club Heights is an impossible neighborhood to buy in unless you’re super rich but it’s also very nice. Elizabeth is also a beautiful neighborhood.

But yes, south of the city is the nicest part without question.

Does that include staying within NC state lines, or possibly crossing over into the SC suburbs near the 485?

I know a lot of people who work in Charlotte but live just over the border in SC.

Can't wait to see whatever abomination Jnr Pegulas dream up for our heritage classic jerseys.

I actueoliy love the Bolts one as an alt. It’s everything alternate jerseys should be: different, identifiable and ridiculous.

Genuinely interested, do you have a single example of a time that future considerations turned out to be anything other than absolutely nothing?  I think it’s nothing 100% of the time, and it’s literally just the way that they must phrase “nothing” to comply with the CBA.

Not hockey and not the same situation but the Padres and Nats were part of a three-time trade where the Nats got a “player to be named later” from the Padres for a player who wasn’t very good … and the player to be named later was Trea Turner who is one of the best shortstops in the league. Of course, player to be named later is much different because usually in baseball that means Team A has agreed to trade either one specific player to another team who is not eligible to be traded yet (which was the case for Turner) or Team A gave Team B three prospects to choose from but allowed them to make that choice later.

I like the detail on the shoulders, the one band around the arm framing the number and the back.

It's sharp. The more I watch that snipet the more I like it actually.

I know everyone is entitled to their opinion but that jersey is atrocious and that’s factual.

I hate domes.  Give me the snow and cold and wind and rain and sun.  Both teams play in the elements it's part of the game.

It’s not part of the game. You can just put a dome over severe elements games and avoid wasting everyone’s time. The Colts game was fun and cute because, despite making the playoffs that year, we were still the cute garbage team from Buffalo. We’re not that anymore and should never aspire to be.

The team isn’t built for the elements right now and the sport will always favor more uptempo style which will cost us if we continue to play outdoors.

But the most important factor is: why in the world would you build a massive stadium that can only be used for like seven months a year?

It is about time we start showing some love to 7th round pick Tyson Kozak. The centre for Portland is quietly up to  19 points in 21 games.

Also, our two top prospects, Power and Quinn both wear #22. Interesting to see who will rock that number for the Sabres for years to come.

I’d imagine Quinn in a first-come first-serve basis. Really curious what Power wears. #25 is another number he’s worn which is also semi-taken. He wore #3 when he was much younger.

How about Kane ? he got the shot or just got send down ?  Really a trade issue for sure, more than his attitude.

What does this have to do with Evander Kane? It has been reported Bertuzzi is the only unvaccinated player in the league.
