If i'm not mistaken, didn't Weber and Lucic go at it last year? Weber didn't win but he didn't get beat up either. Also Adam Mair bloodied Lucics nose a couple years back in a fight. I expect someone or more than one to challenge Lucic on the 23rd. I would be shocked if it didn't happen. The Sabres supposedly had a team meeting at the Bell Ctr yesterday morning about team toughness. I guess we will see if they are for real or not.

I guess the next question is, what is the answer? The Sabres have been destroyed in publications. There is going to be a lot of pressure to answer the bell in their next Bruins matchup from fans, media, and hopefully themselves.

Good teams usually have good goaltending and good goaltending is only giving up 2 or less goals per game. That said, yes the sabres need to score more and yes the sabres goaltending needs to be better.

Really? then I guess it was not too much to ask of Thomas to make the save on Roy. I guess you have got to ask yourself, why are some saves too difficult for Miller but not too difficult for other goalies? Hmm.... makes you wonder.
