Watching Eichel makes me hate the Sabres organization so much more than I already did. ROR, Evander, Jack, Sam.....only Buffalo could turn that group into a ***** show. Last 4 years of playoff hockey have made me disgusted. Other than watching Boston keep choking.

To be honest, the real problem is that there's very little going on in Sabreland. Okay, Lindy was hired. But there will be few, if any, roster changes before the playoffs are done and we're all ready to start next season.

When I think of Ruff as the Sabres coach I remember him being able to adapt. When we had less skill, he built a plan for that. When we had more skill, he built a plan for that also. He seemed to find a way to be competitive, even when the personnel was fastly different.

Dallas season on the line in this third period. Should be a good one.

I think the biggest impact will be readiness. The Sabres seem to need half the first period before they settle into their game. Maybe that’s why they got outscored so bad in the first. Team defense is another area Ruff will noticeably improve. To send that point home, ice time may be lost if you don’t put out in your own end. I don’t see this as a good thing if my name is Jeff Skinner.

..and the annual Leafs fan meltdown is always amusing too. I'm really enjoying the narrative that refs called penalties in their favor at the wrong times and ruined momentum they have going over on HF right no.

When I first saw it a few months ago I played it over about 10 times. He really nails the Morrison impersonation.... like uncannily so.

man these ESPN announcers are amazing praising Stone for his ability to come back. This BS is worse than politicians.

If Lindy can get more players to follow Benson's example of having a net presence in their offensive zone, I would be very pleased.

Which pretty much fired up the Bruins though and probably was why they won. Lots of rat play on both sides in this series. Fun to watch.

I think Berube or Gallant are fits for Ottawa and both of them would love Tkachuk. I'm surprised they haven't named a coach yet though . They've had plenty of time to think about it so maybe that means they are looking at an assistant on a big team still playing right now. or Brind'Amour 🙂

Oh I'm sure people have said Power needs to hit more, and he does, but he needs to get stronger first. The issue for me was related to drafting Power and if people expected him to be a big hitter because he was big. Don't think anybody figured that.
