  1. Past hour
  2. It’s called claiming the intersection. By law you can do that but I’d say the safer option is not doing that cause you’re in the intersection. More left green arrows would solve having to go claim the intersection
  3. People just dont know how to drive and most are on their phones.
  4. Even more irritating than Kozak being in the top six is Peyton freakin Krebs being nothing more than a 4C. Might be a mix of poor development management & just not good enough, but yeesh that Eichel trade looks even worse now knowing he’s developed into an NHL non-factor. It’s time to try someone else next season.
  5. Pull in. Wait for the red. Turn. and tell that to the woman who decided to cut off my motorcycle as I was turning right. try to hold up off of the ground a 600 lb Harley either no help 🤬
  6. A$$holes are optional? He may surprise.
  7. https://www.prohockeyrumors.com/2025/11/flames-place-justin-kirkland-on-waivers.html 29 year old fringe NHLer who plays center. I would claim and give him a five game look and push Östlund back down to Rochester where he should be.
  8. Nuremberg. See it. Crowe is a shoe-in for the Oscar. Malek and Woodhall may well be nominated as well and Shannon was no slouch. I love John Slattery, but he is too often Roger Sterling in his movies.
  9. The rule of thumb when I was learning how to drive was pull into the intersection under the light (or as close as you could while still seeing it) and wait until you had an opening to turn. At the very worst, as the light turns yellow and the oncoming traffic stops, you can then turn. What I’m seeing regularly now, is vehicles not even breaching the crosswalk ensuring that they won’t be able to get through the yellow light. Are they teaching it differently now?
  10. Maybe it’s been mentioned but.. Paramount plus going to double prices 1st quarter next year id expect the same from Disney and ESPN
  11. Kozak as a second line center.
  12. I watched the 4 part Death by Lightning series on Netflix. It tells the Parallel stories of President Garfield and his assassin Guiteau. If you keep in mind that the factual outline of the events are true but the specific details are embellished then it is pretty easy to enjoy this series. The acting is outstanding. Matthew MacFadyen is stellar as Guiteau. I had recently read a biography about Garfield and it is a very interesting time in US history.
  13. Not an excuse. Never was, never will be.
  14. Avi Loeb just announced that 3I/Atlas is now blinking in Morse Code.
  15. Sabres out of playoff contention by mid-November again. Ho-hum.
  16. PA and I agreeing upon things for the second time in the same season. Please ready yourselves for the upcoming disaster. This post is sponsored by A-Nuke Bunker Builders and DraftKings. And FanDuel, just for the heck of it.
  17. I don’t know what his values and priorities are. All I know is that the professed love of his life is thousands of miles away and recently underwent an emergency heart transplant in France and he felt compelled to be with her. It may be easy for him to walk away from the money, who knows? We are in no position to project our value system onto him and his fiancee. Sweden’s socialized health care has nothing to do with it given where the surgery was performed and where her medical team resides. But Sweden is a heck of a lot closer to France than Buffalo is, that’s for sure.
  18. Today
  19. PA's Locks of Love: the Sabres get thumped tonight, 5-1, then inexplicably lay Colorado with only its second regulation loss of the season, 3-2.
  20. Maybe money doesn't matter to him, at all or with x million in the bank.
  21. There are a lot of things more important than money. That said, I still think he'll "commute" periodically. Too bad work-from-home doesn't work in hockey!
  22. And walk away from $13MM/yr? Top salaries in the SHL are just shy of a million. I know Sweden has public health care but Rasmus can afford the best care for Carolina because of his current salary.
  23. Now that I spent like an hour on my other post, please allow me to turn my attention to Keon Coleman. Pretty simple for me. Keon was a bad pick. He’s shown to be slow, average at the catch point, and his reputation as a non-separator in college has proven true. Now you throw in the McDermott press conference comments, the McDermott disciplinarian benching(s), and the observed effort level on some plays, and there’s not much left to say. Beane whiffed and I think the Bills are done with him. I expect Keon will be moved in the offseason for a 6th or 7th round pick, à la Elam from last offseason.
  24. I don't hate Adams and I don't think he's all bad. He's from the area and I believe he loves the organization and wants to do well by it. He's played in the league and even has a Stanley Cup ring. He went to a pretty good college (Miami of Ohio) and has a MBA (albeit from an online program, but it's better not having one at all), so he's not stupid. He now has lots of experience in a NHL front office. He gets along with the owner. So find him a spot in the front office. All of the above said, he's not a very good GM, so get him the hell out of that role. If Jarmo is the guy, I'm fine with that. He's experienced, he's had some success in the role in the past, and he's well respected around the league. Injuries may well be the reason the Sabres season goes sideways, but it's not a good reason to give Adams another bite at the apple as the team's GM. Time may have passed Ruff by, but he's at least had some success in his role in the past and is well respected around the league too. If Jarmo wants to keep Ruff beyond this season, I can live with that. But, for god's sake, please purge the assistant coaches and start with some new blood there. I believe that they're holding Ruff back a little bit. If Jarmo wants to hire a new coach, that's fine too, but Appert CANNOT be the guy.
  25. My guess is Dahlin will be back and forth this year and possibly over the summer they'll return to the U.S. and finish her Year 1 Plus here. You are recommended not to travel until 1 year after the surgery so I'd imagine that's what they'll wait for. Then as long as she recovered well they'd be back in Buffalo
